Food waste is a significant problem in the UK, with substantial environmental and economic impacts. By sourcing locally grown surplus ingredients, we can support local farmers, use ingredients that might otherwise go to waste and reduce the environmental impact of transporting food over long distances.

PinchBites is making a positive impact on the environment and supporting a more sustainable food system, Incorporating this into their visual identity to help to reinforce their commitment to reducing food waste and promoting sustainability. This creates a bold and playful brand that stands out in a crowded market and appealing to consumers who prioritise ethical and sustainable snacking.

Made from recycled kraft paper, the Pinchbites packaging features a bold and playful design to grab attention and create a sense of fun and positivity around reducing food waste. Each flavour has a different monster about to take a bite out of a shaped window incorporated into the design. This allows consumers to see the trail mix inside whilst reinforcing the idea of transparency and sustainability.
